About Wrexham Geriatric Medicine Department

We are a friendly and growing department based in North East Wales. We currently have 9 consultant physicians and 3 consultant therapists and are looking to expand our workforce further.

 

We provide a wide range of services within the local area including Stroke Medicine, falls, movement disorders, orthogeriatrics, rehabilitation, and front door frailty. We are keen to develop further services – areas of future focus include POPs, in-reach into the older persons mental health unit, and community geriatrics.
